Mlm: Multi Level Marketing: Exploring The Power Of Network Marketing
What I want to do in the rest of this tutorial is share some of my favorite tips for network marketers. Although this training is intended for network marketers, it will help any small business owner. Let’s get started.
Keep your contacts in one place. Get organized. If some of your leads are on index cards, some on your desk, some in your day planner, and some on your computer, you’ll be dropping the ball. Connect everyone in one management system.
Record your conversations so you know what to discuss when you follow up with your prospects. You can use CRM software. You can also use index cards, a Microsoft Excel spreadsheet, a notebook, or any other tool that works for you. With each contact, get their email, phone number, social media profile and mailing address.
You can even rank or prioritize or group each contact. For example, you might have a product lead or a business lead. You can group them as warm leads, warm leads and cold leads. Choose something that makes sense to you and stick to it.

Establish a schedule of when and how often you will follow up with each prospect. Make a game plan of what you’re going to do for each follow-up. Here is an example:
Appreciate people when you follow them. Share helpful reviews, videos, articles, facts and good to know information. Your follow-up should not be a sales pitch. Your goal is to offer value, plant a seed, and position yourself as an expert.
You have two ears and one mouth for a reason. Use them in this ratio. Be good at asking open-ended questions and listening. You want your prospects to sell themselves. The only way to do this is to make them talk.
Use a combination of direct mail, email, text, phone and social media to follow up with your prospects. Some prospects prefer one form of communication over another. For example, some people don’t have a Facebook account but are active on email. Others hate receiving email and prefer text. The best thing you can do is ask your prospect HOW to communicate and if they like to use this form of communication.
What Is Personal Selling?
Objections are a normal part of the buying process. Show me a prospect with ZERO objections and I’ll freak out. Learn the main network marketing objections and how to overcome them. The best way to do this is the “Feel, Feel, Find Method”. It goes something like this:
“Hey Josh, I know how you feel. I was also skeptical when I first joined this company, mainly because of the few negative reviews I found online about the products. However, here is what I found. When I spoke to people who used the product, they loved it. Plus, the empty bottle comes with a 90-day money-back guarantee, so there’s no risk involved. Isn’t it great?
Most people will need a MINIMUM of 10-20 follow ups before they buy or join. It is human nature to rush. My train of thought is to watch forever until they buy or die (or ask you to stop). Note that you should never use pressure or hype. Be professional and stay connected.
ALWAYS, and I mean ALWAYS, ask for the sale. Every time you contact your prospect, it’s an opportunity to close the sale. You will miss 100% of the sales you don’t want. Even if your prospect is interested in buying or joining, they probably won’t unless you ask them to.
Double Your Contacts: What Every Network Marketer Needs To Know About Making Con
I learned a great stalking strategy from a gentleman named Robert Blackman. He called it a “Mail, Call, Email” Tracking System or something like that.
In short, you send a postcard to your potential customer. Then you call the prospect and leave a message telling them to look for a postcard in the mail. Then you send them an email to let them know you left them a voicemail.
I recommend using an autoresponder to follow up with your network marketing prospects. This will automate the process so you don’t forget. I’ve been using an autoresponder for about 13 years and I can say with 100% certainty that it works great.
In conclusion, these are my top tips for network marketers. I hope you found the information useful. What did I miss? What are your top tips? Leave a comment to share your thoughts and let me know what you think.
